Urenco promotes its education programme at the British Science Associations’s STEM in Education event
On Wednesday 11 September, Urenco exhibited at the British Science Associations’s STEM in Education event in Coventry.
The event gave teachers the opportunity to meet representatives from science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) enrichment organisations and get inspiration for classroom activities.
During the evening, Urenco promoted its Richie education programme, including its two CREST Awards resources, created in partnership with the British Science Association:
- Spinning Solutions (aimed at 7-11 year olds) – through group work and interactive activities, students can learn about the concept of separation and its purpose in everyday life.
- Enrich my Classroom (aimed at 11-14 year olds) – students can investigate a variety of topics, including coding, electricity, magnetism, ergonomics and nanotechnology, and develop exciting new ways to enrich their classroom.
