Urenco expands audience for the Richie programme at Teacher Lates
On Wednesday 25 November, Urenco attended a Teacher Lates event held at the Science Museum, London.
Over 200 teachers from across London attended the event, which enabled Urenco to promote the Richie programme to a new audience.
The Teacher Lates event was an ideal opportunity to present our outreach activities, including our classroom material created in partnership with the British Science Association (BSA). During the event, teachers had the opportunity to look at our science experiments, view our recently updated website and talk to Urenco and the BSA about our respective education programmes.
Urenco also used this opportunity to increase our database of contacts for the Richie programme. The database now includes over 900 teachers, which with approximately 30 students per teacher totals an overall reach of 27,000 students.
Next year, Urenco will continue to exhibit at the Science Museum Teacher Lates events in order to further expand the audience for the Richie programme and in turn inspire the next generation of energy leaders.
