Urenco promotes its education outreach programme at Science Museum’s Teacher Lates event
On Wednesday 28 June, Urenco exhibited at the British Science Museum’s Teacher Lates event – a free event in which the Museum opens its doors late to teachers.
During the evening, more than 160 teachers had the chance to try some of Urenco’s classroom resources, created in partnership with the British Science Association, and discover how school children can solve science, engineering, technology and maths (STEM) problems through practical investigation.
In particular, Urenco’s CREST Discovery Day resource was promoted, a fun and hands-on resource aimed for students aged between 11 and 14. More information about this resource can be found here (https://www.britishscienceassociation.org/enrichmyclassroom).
The Teacher Lates event was an ideal opportunity to further Urenco’s collaboration with both the British Science Association and the Science Museum, London, which reinforce Urenco’s ethos of nurturing an interest in STEM subjects.
