URENCO attends Science Museum Lates event
On 28 October, URENCO exhibited at the Science Museum’s Lates event – a night in which the Museum opens its doors late to the general public.
The theme of the Lates event was ‘computing’ and technology, which was the perfect opportunity for URENCO to increase understanding of our centrifuge technology and how we utilise it in our day to day operations for the provision of uranium enrichment services to our global customer base.
URENCO also promoted our ‘enabling our everyday’ campaign to the 6,000 attendees. The campaign, which explores the many benefits that nuclear technology brings, is designed to make the wider public think about how they use nuclear technology in their day to day lives. This can be anything from the smoke alarm in their homes, the luminous light in their alarm clocks or the solution in which they keep their contact lenses.
With the #enablingoureveryday, guests were encouraged to tweet their ideas on how nuclear technology enables their lives for a chance to win a prize.
Next month URENCO will exhibit at the Teacher Lates’ event, this time promoting the Richie programme.
